Cymbidium madidum Lindl. is a large epiphytic species from northern Australia. It is a robust plant and can form a big clump very quickly. Its arching inflorescence contains numerous fragrant and long lasting flowers. However, flowers are small when compared to its plant size.

Flowering Period : August to April in cultivation in Bangkok.
Distribution & Habitat : Found on large tree branches and trunks in damp, open tropical forests on the eastern side of the coastal ranges at elevations of 0-1300 metres of Queensland and northern New South Wales in Australia.
