C. Enzan Summer is a hybrid between two vibrant yellow cymbidiums, C. Golden Elf and C. Lovely Bunny. From a quick look, it resembles to C. Golden Vanguard. However, one can differentiate them as Enzan Summer has a more well-open flower and more true yellow in colour, whereas Golden Vanguard is more greenish yellow.

C. Enzan Summer is considered as a Warmth Tolerant Cymbidium since it can bloom only during the cooler months in Bangkok, from December to early March. However, this hybrid is exceptionally productive in term of spiking. The flower spread is up to 8.5 cm.
